About me: Prior to coming to Spoto, Mr. Beauford served as Assistant Principal for Administration at Gaither High School for three years.  He also has experience as an Assistant Principal for Student Affairs at Lennard High School and has previously taught at Farnell Middle School (Physical Education), Roland Park Middle School (Physical Education) and Robinson High School (Reading Coach).

About me: Ms. Canady grew up in Staten Island, New York and is a graduate from Susan E. Wagner High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English Literature and her Master's degree in Reading Education from the University of South Florida. She earned her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. Ms. Canady began her career in Hillsborough County Public Schools as a classroom teacher, then a magnet lead teacher, and eventually a reading coach before becoming a part of Spoto's administrative team. She is also a district professional development trainer. Ms. Canady enjoys spending time with her family and is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of South Florida - Go Bulls!

About me: Mr. McDonald is a former newspaper reporter and copywriter who taught all levels of English, Journalism, SAT Prep, ESOL English, Developmental Language, Intensive Reading and Intensive Math at Boynton Beach and Royal Palm Beach high schools in Palm Beach County. In 2014 he returned to his hometown of Tampa and taught English at Brandon High School before becoming an Assistant Principal for Student Affairs at Brandon High. He transferred to Spoto High School in July 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and a Master of Arts degree in mass communication from the University of Florida. He also has an Ed Specialist degree in Ed leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

About me: I am Dietrich Ramos and I proudly joined the Spartan Pride team during the 2018-19 school year, following over ten years of service with the Brevard County School District. I served in the capacity of reading teacher and Literacy Coach at Bayside High School, transferred to Heritage High School as Title I Coordinator and later became the Assistant Principal. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Austin Peay State University, a Master of Art degree in Curriculum & Instruction from National Louis University and Ed Specialist degree in Ed. Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. My area of specialty guides and directs my leadership and teaching as I view literacy as the foundation of academic progress. During my free time I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.
